Power tariff hiked despite knowing it will affect small businesses - Traders' association council president

Vellaiyan, the state president of the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has complained that the price has been hiked on the issue of electricity bills despite knowing that it will harm the people and those in power are indulging in such activities in their own way.



Tirupur: The electricity tariff hike has been hiked despite knowing that it will affect the people. The President of the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vellaiyan has announced that they are ready to hold protests on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce.



The inauguration ceremony of the Tiruppur South district office of the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held at Tirupur Pudur pirivu Road. It was inaugurated by Vellaiyan, state president of the Chamber of Traders' Associations.

Speaking to reporters, he said,



We have to protect the self-employment produced in our country. The Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry will also work for this.

The electricity bill price has been hiked and those in power are working on such activities in their own way. They have hiked the price hike even though they know it will affect the people. He said he was ready to hold protests on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
