Coimbatore: In a significant recognition of their outstanding efforts, the Velliangiri Uzhavan Producer Company Ltd, operating under the guidance of Isha Foundation, was felicitated with a prestigious National Award by the Federation of Indian Industries in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Agriculture.
The accolade was presented during a ceremony held on October 18 in New Delhi, where Faiz Ahmed Kidwai, Additional Secretary of the Central Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, bestowed the award upon the worthy recipients.
At the event, Kumar, the Chairman of Velliangiri Uzhavan Producer Company, and Swami Rabhya, representing Isha Brahmachari, received the award on behalf of the organization.
