The factory had been sealed by the district administration following a court order, due to its illegal operations. Additionally, the power supply to the factory had been disconnected, bringing it under the control of the district administration.
The arrests were made following continuous complaints to the Thadagam Police about the illegal transportation of bricks from the shut-down factory. In a swift action early this morning, the police team reached the site and apprehended two individuals caught in the act of stealing bricks.
Furthermore, two trucks used in the theft were confiscated by the authorities. The police have also registered cases against the owner of the brick factory and the owners of the trucks involved in the illegal activity. Investigations are ongoing to unravel the full extent of the illegal operation and to bring all involved parties to justice.
