Inauguration of Various Development Projects in Coimbatore’s Ward No. 8

Coimbatore District Collector, Mayor, and other officials inaugurate multiple facilities in Ward No. 8, including a smart classroom and kitchen.


Coimbatore: In a significant development, Coimbatore District CollectorG. Karthikumar, along with Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar and Commissioner Ma. Sivaguru Prabakaran, inaugurated a range of projects in Ward No. 8, Kalapatti.



This initiative, a collaboration between the Municipality and Velmurugan Enterprises, saw the opening of a smart classroom with a digital board, a kitchen, a shopping area, a garden, and fencing facilities, costing around Rs. 33.40 lakh.



Present at the event were East Zone Chairman Ilakumi Ilanchelvi Karthik, Councillor Vijayakumar, Assistant Commissioner Kavitha, and other municipal officials.
