Marriage Hall Jewelry Thief Arrested at Singanallur Bus Station in Coimbatore

Coimbatore police apprehend a suspect for stealing 5 sovereigns of jewelry at a marriage hall near Trichy Road, Singanallur, on December 8th.


Coimbatore: On December 8th, a theft of 5 sovereigns of jewelry occurred at a marriage hall near Trichy Road, Singanallur. Following a report by the wedding family, Singanallur police registered a case and analyzed CCTV footage from the marriage hall, initiating an intensive search operation.

Recently, police on patrol duty at Singanallur Bus Station apprehended a suspicious individual. Upon investigation, it was confirmed that the suspect, Mani alias Raja from Karur district, residing in Peelamedu, Coimbatore, was involved in the theft. Further inquiries led to the recovery of the stolen jewelry, which the suspect had intended to pawn. This arrest underscores the police's commitment to ensuring safety and security in public spaces.
