Signature Campaign for Filling Teacher Vacancies in Tamil Nadu Colleges

The Tamil Nadu Government College Teachers Association has initiated a signature campaign across the state demanding the immediate filling of 4000 vacant teacher positions in government arts, science, and education colleges.

Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Government had announced the filling of 4000 vacant teacher positions in 170 government arts, science, and education colleges over a year ago.

However, the Teacher Recruitment Board has not yet issued any notifications for these appointments. The Tamil Nadu Government College Teachers Association has launched a signature campaign from Thursday until the 5th of this month statewide to urge immediate action on these appointments.

As a part of this movement, a signature campaign was conducted on Thursday morning at 12 PM at the Coimbatore Government Arts College by the Coimbatore district branch. Many students participated and signed the campaign.
