The "Karkai Nandre" initiative, focusing on mental health and well-being of students, commences in Coimbatore's municipal schools, in collaboration with Coimbatore City Corporation and AND Trust.
Coimbatore: Aiming to bolster student mental health, the "Karkai Nandre" program was launched today at various Coimbatore municipal schools, including R.S. Puram, Kempatti Colony, and Ranganathapuram.



This initiative, a collaboration between the Coimbatore City Corporation and the AND Trust, addresses critical issues like exam stress, future anxieties, emotional barriers, depression, stress, adolescent issues, and substance abuse.
Thirty professionals, comprising psychologists and social workers, will engage in a three-month long campaign, offering guidance and counselling tailored to the needs of the students. This pioneering program is a significant step towards enhancing student welfare in the region.
