Pongal Celebration at Coimbatore Head Post Office

Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Postal Department marked the festive season by celebrating Pongal at the Coimbatore Head Post Office. Spanning over three days, the celebration included various competitions exclusively for the postal staff.

The festivities culminated today, January 13, starting with a Pongal cooking competition in the morning. Eight teams participated in this event, showcasing their culinary skills in preparing the traditional festive dish. The team from the Coimbatore Divisional Office emerged as the winners, adding a joyful spirit to the celebrations. This event highlights the cultural engagement and camaraderie among the postal department staff during one of the most cherished festivals in Tamil Nadu.
