Coimbatore South District Congress Committee Protests in Pollachi against Attack on Rahul Gandhi's Bus in Assam

The Coimbatore South District Congress Committee staged a protest in Pollachi condemning the alleged attack on Rahul Gandhi's bus by BJP members in Assam.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore South District Congress Committee organized a condemnation protest at Thiruvalluvar Ground in Pollachi, criticizing the alleged attack on a bus carrying Rahul Gandhi in Assam. Gandhi, former President of the All India Congress Party, is currently undertaking the second phase of the Bharat Jodo Yatra (Unite India March).

According to reports, while Gandhi was traveling in Assam as part of his unity campaign, BJP members allegedly blocked and attacked his bus. This incident led to a strong reaction from the Congress members in Coimbatore.

Led by District Leader Bhagavathi, the protest saw the participation of several Congress Committee members, including the Pollachi City Congress Committee Leader Senthil. The demonstrators raised slogans condemning the actions of the BJP members and expressed their solidarity with Rahul Gandhi.

The protest in Pollachi highlights the ongoing political tension and emphasizes the Congress party's support for their leader amidst challenges during his nationwide campaign.
