DMK Engineers' Wing Speech Contest Winners Honored by Dharapuram Municipality Chairman Pappu Kannan

Dharapuram Municipality Chairman Pappu Kannan awards prizes to students who excelled in the DMK Engineers' Wing speech contest.


Coimbatore: A grand prize distribution ceremony for the winners of the speech contest organized by the DMK Engineers' Wing, South District of Tiruppur, took place recently. Dharapuram Municipality Chairman Pappu Kannan bestowed certificates and medals to victorious students.

The event, aligned with the centenary celebrations of Kalaignar, was held in the Maharani Arts and Science College auditorium. The speech contest, which covered six topics related to engineering and technology patronized by Kalaignar, saw participation from numerous engineering college students.

The first-place winners, including a female student, were each awarded a cash prize of Rs. 10,000, a medal, and a certificate. Additionally, over 30 students from various taluks received medals, cash prizes, and certificates for their commendable performances.

The occasion was led by Dharapuram Union Group Leader Senthilkumar and witnessed the presence of DMK functionaries from Kangayam, Udumalai, Pollachi, Dharapuram, Mulanur, Kundadam, along with various college professors and local secretaries.
