Four Arrested in Palladam Journalist Nesaprabhu Assault Case

The arrested individuals are Balabharathi Harikaran, Jayapraveen, and Muhammad Sabi, along with another unnamed suspect. They are arrested for the brutal attack on journalist Nesa Prabhu, who is currently receiving intensive care.


Coimbatore: A significant development has occurred in the assault case of journalist Nesa Prabhu in Palladam. Prabhu was viciously attacked by an unidentified group and is currently undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit.

Initially, the police had arrested two individuals, Praveen and Saravanan, in connection with the assault. Following further investigations, on January 29, four more suspects were apprehended. The arrested individuals are Balabharathi Hariharan, Jayapraveen, and Muhammad Sabi, along with another unnamed suspect.

The four were taken into custody and presented before the Coimbatore court, where they were remanded to judicial custody. The arrest marks a significant step in the investigation of the attack on Prabhu, which has been a matter of concern for the journalist community in the region.
