Lamp Lighting Ceremony Held at Sri Dharmasastha Matriculation School

Coimbatore: In the Vilankurichi area, the Sri Dharmasastha Matriculation Higher Secondary School, managed by the Coimbatore Sri Ayyappa Seva Sangham, witnessed a significant event as students preparing for their board exams participated in a lamp lighting ceremony. This event, particularly for students of 10th and 12th grades, is intended to motivate them to excel in their upcoming public examinations.

The ceremony took place on Friday within the school premises, marking a moment of encouragement and support from the school community towards the examinees. School Chairman M.K.Velayudhan initiated the event by lighting the lamp, setting a solemn and inspiring tone for the proceedings. The welcome address was given by the Principal, T. Dhanalakshmi, followed by words of encouragement and advice from Secretary Santosh Nair, Vice Secretary S.N. Balasubramaniam, Vice Principal R. Latha, faculty members, administrative staff, and attending parents, all aiming to bolster the students’ confidence and resolve ahead of their exams.

The event highlighted the school's commitment to not just academic excellence but also to the emotional and spiritual well-being of its students, providing them with a memorable start to their examination period.
