Coimbatore SP Badri Narayanan Lauds Winning Police Officers in Sports Competition

Police officers from Coimbatore West Zone who participated in the 63rd Tamil Nadu Police Athletic Competition from February 13 to 16, were felicitated by SP Badri Narayanan for winning numerous medals including 6 golds, 16 silvers, and 20 bronzes.


Coimbatore: In a commendable achievement, police officers serving in the Coimbatore West Zone Police Department participated in the 63rd Tamil Nadu Police Athletic Competition held from February 13 to 16. The officers showcased exceptional skill and dedication, resulting in a total of 42 officers winning medals in the competition. They secured 6 gold, 16 silver, and 20 bronze medals, demonstrating their prowess in various athletic events.

In recognition of their outstanding performance, SP Badri Narayanan invited the winning officers to the district police office on February 19 to extend his congratulations and appreciation. The felicitation ceremony served as a testament to the officers' hard work and the department's commitment to encouraging sports and physical fitness among its ranks.

The success of the Coimbatore West Zone officers at the athletic meet has not only brought laurels to the police department but has also set a remarkable example of the potential within the force to excel in extracurricular activities alongside their duties.
