A new park featuring a walkway, constructed with a budget of ₹31 lakhs from the Parliamentary Constituency Development Fund of PR Natarajan, was inaugurated in G.M Nagar, South Ukkadam, Coimbatore, by the Ward 84 council member.
Coimbatore: In a significant development for the residents of South Ukkadam, the Coimbatore City Corporation inaugurated a new park equipped with a walkway in G.M Nagar. This initiative, funded by the Parliamentary Constituency Development Fund of MP PR Natarajan, saw an investment of ₹31 lakhs. The inauguration ceremony of the park, located in the 84th ward, was presided over by the ward council member Alima Raja Usain, who officially opened the park.

The event was a realization of a long-standing demand by the residents of G.M Nagar, who expressed their joy by participating in the event in large numbers.

The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including party officials from DMK, Congress, CPI(M), VCK, and SDPI, showcasing a strong community presence and support for the project.
