Leaders Pay Tribute to the Demise of Kamatchipuram Adheenam

Prominent leaders paid their respects to Sivalingeswarar Swamigal of Angala Parameswari Shakthi Peet Adheenam in Coimbatore's Ondipudur Kamatchipuram area, who passed away on March 12.


Coimbatore: The spiritual community and public paid their last respects to Sivalingeswarar Swamigal of Angala Parameswari Shakthi Peet Adheenam, who passed away early on March 12 after a period of illness. His body was laid for public homage at the Adheenam's main hall in the Ondipudur Kamatchipuram area, drawing a large number of devotees and public to offer their final tributes.



Hindu Munnani's state leader Kadeswara Subramaniam was among the first to pay homage, followed by Vanathi Srinivasan, the national president of BJP's women's wing, both expressing their deep condolences.

Kadeswara Subramaniam, addressing the media, stated that Sivalingeswarar Swamigal's demise is a considerable loss to all Hindus, acknowledging his significant contributions to spiritual and community services beyond his religious duties. He highlighted Swamigal's close association with Hindu Munnani and other spiritual organizations, emphasizing his role in supporting various causes for the Hindu community.



Vanathi Srinivasan, in her address, expressed shock and sorrow over the demise of Swamigal, who had been a pivotal figure in spiritual growth and social services in the region for over thirty years. She remembered Swamigal as a source of strength and support, especially during election times for BJP, and his irreplaceable presence in the Hindu movements.



Both leaders underscored Swamigal's enduring legacy and assured that the Hindu community and organizations would continue to thrive under the blessings and guidance left behind by him. They extended their deepest sympathies to the devotees, followers, and the Angala Parameswari Peet, vowing to continue the path Swamigal had set forth in promoting Hindu values and welfare.
