Health Awareness Education Program Held at Saralapathi School

A health awareness education session focusing on dengue fever, chickenpox, and tuberculosis was conducted for students at Saralapathi School, under the Anaimalai Ve.Kaliyapuram Primary Health Centre, on March 18.


Coimbatore: In an effort to educate young minds about prevalent health concerns, Saralapathi School, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Anaimalai Ve.Kaliyapuram Primary Health Centre, hosted a significant health awareness education program today, March 18. The session aimed to increase students' knowledge about dengue fever, chickenpox, and tuberculosis, diseases that pose serious health risks.




The initiative saw the participation of teachers, along with health officials including the District Health Supervisor, Rajasekar, Medical Supervisor, Chelladurai, and health inspectors, Arunachalam and Viswanathan. This collaborative effort underscores the importance of public health education from an early age, emphasizing prevention and early detection of such illnesses.




Through this program, the school has taken a proactive step towards ensuring its students are well-informed about these diseases and their prevention methods. The health officials provided valuable insights into how students can protect themselves and others by maintaining proper hygiene and adopting healthy lifestyles.
