Coimbatore: A crucial meeting of activists from the DMK's Eastern Coimbatore division, representing the 52nd ward, was held on March 24th at the S Kannan Memorial Hall on Masakalipalayam Road.
The gathering focused on devising a strategy to secure a large victory margin for Ganapathy Rajkumar, the alliance's candidate from the Indian Secular Front for the Coimbatore parliamentary constituency in the forthcoming parliamentary elections. The meeting saw participation from DMK members and representatives of alliance parties, deliberating on the action plan.

Eastern Coimbatore region leader, Lakshmi Ilanchezhiyan Karthik, addressed the assembly, emphasizing the importance of collective effort in ensuring Rajkumar's success. Prominent activists including Peelamedu Zone-1 Secretary Senthil Selvan, Executive Committee Member Balasubramaniam, General Committee Members Noyal Selvam and R. Manikandan, along with Ward Secretary Narayanan, participated. Leaders from allied parties like Narayanasamy (CPI), Kalyanasundaram (CPM), Pandiyan (CPM), Sivakumar (Congress), and assembly member Chitra Vellingiri, as well as the 52nd ward's cadre and section managers, were present to discuss and contribute to the strategic plan.
