UMT Raja Creates Jesus Christ Portrait with 1077 Nails for Easter

To commemorate Easter, celebrated nationwide on Sunday, March 31, 2024, UMT Raja from Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore, crafts a portrait of Jesus Christ using 1077 nails, dedicating it to Christians worldwide for Good Friday and Easter.


Coimbatore: As the nation prepares to celebrate Easter on Sunday, March 31, 2024, UMT Raja from Kuniamuthur in Coimbatore has completed a unique portrait of Jesus Christ using 1077 small and large nails.

Speaking about the creation process, Raja said he worked continuously from 4 AM to 2 PM today, March 30, 2024, hammering nails into a wooden board to shape the portrait. He expressed his intention to dedicate this artwork to Christians all over the world as they celebrate Good Friday and Easter, hoping it adds to the spirit of the festivities.



Raja's creative effort offer a unique contribution to the Easter celebrations, reflecting on the significance of the occasion.
