Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles and Management students’ protest enters fifth day.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles and Management is under the direct preview of the Ministry of Textiles. This college is located on the Avinashi Road in Coimbatore. It has been reported that Perumalsamy, Principal and Kalaiselvan Security Officer of this educational institution have been using foul language while communicating with its women students.

In this regard, a section of students of this educational institution called for a protest. A source from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles and Management shares with us the protest has entered the fifth day today. As a mark of protest, the participating students washed their apparels in the campus of this educational institution.

The protesting students have alleged that this educational institution lacks basic facilities, infrastructure and lacks qualified faculty members to handle the courses. The protesting students also pointed out that despite escalating complaints on Principal and the Security Officer to the Management, no action was initiated.

Hence, immediate action should be initiated against the concerned people for using abusive language to students, failing to do so, we would further intensify our protests, the students said.
