Rs. 14,20,000 Seized in a Police Search at the Kerala-Tamil Nadu Border

Coimbatore, April 22: Kerala police conducted searches on buses traveling through Walayar, on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border, seizing Rs. 14,20,000 from a passenger with no documentation.

Coimbatore: On April 22, in a significant inter-state operation, Kerala police seized Rs. 14,20,000 from a passenger traveling by bus through the Walayar area on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. The bus was en route from Coimbatore to Thrissur when the police initiated their checks.

During the search, police noticed unusual modifications in the clothing of a passenger from Jeraki, near Ernakulam, identified as Vino. Closer inspection revealed hidden compartments within his attire, where the cash was concealed.
