In Coimbatore, an 80-year-old man stages a sit-in demanding action against his sons who fraudulently transferred his Rs 10 crore property and expelled him from home.
Coimbatore: Ammasaippan, an 80-year-old resident near Sungam Bypass in Coimbatore, who has been operating a motor business, took a drastic step by staging a sit-in protest at the District Collector's office.

He alleges that his sons, Senthilkumar and Ravikumar, swindled properties worth approximately Rs 10 crores from him and subsequently drove him out of the house.
Despite multiple complaints lodged at the police station over time, no substantial action had been taken, which prompted Ammasaippan to resort to the protest outside the District Collector's office. Documents were manipulated by his sons two years ago, acquiring about 40 cents of valuable land and claiming it would be used to generate rental income. Recently, they threatened and physically removed him again while trying to demolish his currently occupied property.
After sustained protests, local police intervened and facilitated a meeting between the District authorities and Ammasaippan, where he reiterated his demand for legal action and property restitution against his sons.
