A mass cleaning campaign was held at Ward No:4, Appanaickenpalayam by the city Corporation.
Deputy Commissioner, P. Gandhimathi inspected the cleaning drive and interacted with the residents on sanitation issues faced by them. Residents were advised to keep their surroundings tidy and on waste segregation.
Abate mosquito repellent spray, segregation of wastes at source among others were also inspected during this visit.
