Manithaneya Makkal Katchi Opens a Water and Buttermilk Stall in Ukkadam, Coimbatore

As a relief during the hot weather, the Manithaneya Makkal Katchi party branch opened a free water and buttermilk stall at Ponvizha Nagar, Ward 86 in Ukkadam, Coimbatore on April 29.


Coimbatore: In an endeavor to provide relief from the scorching summer heat, the local branch of the Manithaneya Makkal Katchi inaugurated a free water and buttermilk stall today in Ponvizha Nagar, Ward 86 of Ukkadam area. The stall aims to quench the thirst of the public amidst the rising temperatures.






The opening ceremony witnessed the presence of the state treasurer Umar, who officially launched the service by distributing the first glasses of buttermilk. A large number of locals attended the event, enjoying the refreshments and expressing their gratitude for the initiative.


The party officials emphasized that such community-focused actions are crucial during the summer months, where instances of dehydration and heat strokes are high. They committed to continuing such beneficial activities to aid the community in coping with the seasonal challenges.
