Car Catches Fire on the Busy Coimbatore-Pollachi Road

A car traveling towards Coimbatore from Pollachi caught fire near Eachanari on Coimbatore-Pollachi Road today at noon. No casualties reported, occupants escaped unharmed.


Coimbatore: A dramatic incident occurred today on the bustling Coimbatore-Pollachi Road when a car suddenly caught fire near Eachanari, causing alarm among fellow commuters.


The vehicle was making its way from Pollachi to Coimbatore around noon when smoke began emanating from it. Observant drivers quickly alerted Kartikeyan, the driver from the Keeranatham area in Coimbatore, who then pulled over.



Shortly after, the vehicle was engulfed in flames. Upon receiving information about the fire, the Coimbatore Fire Department was swift to respond. Firefighters reached the scene promptly and managed to extinguish the blaze.

Fortunately, the three occupants of the car managed to escape without any injuries, avoiding what could have been a fatal tragedy.
