DC (traffic) Saravanan flags off awareness rally on traffic at Race Course.


The Friends of Police organization along with Dr.S.N.S.Rajalakshmi College of Arts and Science jointly hosted a Road Safety Awareness Rally today at Race Course.



The rally was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) S.Saravanan.The rally commenced at C2 Police Station in Race Course.



Deputy Commissioner (Traffic) S.Saravanan while speaking to the students said  "In April 2016 nearly 34 students lost their life due to road accidents in Coimbatore. Non adherence to traffic rules and along with the thrill to drive faster has caused these accidents.



Coincindly to conduct an awareness rally yet again in the same month of April is a good thing. College students should adhere to traffic rules and spread the awareness among themselves.

Nearly 100 students participated in this rally which ended at the start point. Friends of Police, Co-ordinator Senthil, Faculty members of Dr.SNS Rajalakshmi College and other  Police officials.
