Coimbatore: A refreshing initiative took place in Coimbatore today as a water and buttermilk distribution booth was inaugurated to help quench the thirst of the public amidst rising temperatures. The event, organized by the DMK under the auspices of the 92nd ward committee of Sugunapuram, witnessed the opening of the booth near the B.K. Pudur Bus Stop.
The inauguration saw the participation of prominent local DMK leaders including Thondamuthur Ravi, North Coimbatore District Secretary; Kalpana Anand Kumar, Mayor of Coimbatore Corporation; Vetrichelvan, Deputy Mayor of Coimbatore, and Sivasakthi, Secretary of the 92nd ward committee. After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the leaders engaged in distributing water, buttermilk, and fruits to the public.
