Three Arrested for Robbery in Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore

On May 5th, near a bakery on Rice Mill Road, Kuniamuthur, three individuals threatened Devaraj, aged 52, from Kuniamuthur, and robbed him of Rs. 800.


Coimbatore: In a recent robbery incident, three men were arrested for threatening and robbing Rs. 800 from a local resident in Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore. The victim, Devaraj, aged 52, reported that on May 5th near a bakery on Rice Mill Road, Kuniamuthur, he was approached by three men who demanded money and threatened him with a beer bottle when he refused. The suspects then forcibly took the money and fled the scene.


Following the incident, Devaraj filed a complaint with the Kuniamuthur Police, who registered a case and initiated an investigation. The police identified the culprits as Sujith, 33, from Kuniamuthur, Hakeem, 36, from Sennam Palayam, and Mathivannan, 30, from Kovai Pudur. The accused were subsequently arrested, presented in court, and remanded in custody.
