Bike Theft Caught on CCTV in Rathinapuri, Coimbatore

A bike was stolen near Shivasakthi restaurant in Rathinapuri, Coimbatore. CCTV captured a suspect taking the bike. Police are investigating based on a complaint.


Coimbatore: In a concerning incident in Rathinapuri area of Coimbatore, the theft of a bike was captured on CCTV, raising alarm among the locals. Near Shivasakthi restaurant, situated in the 7th sector of Rathinapuri, where the owner of the restaurant resides with his two sons, the younger son, Sathish, parked his bike outside their home two nights ago. The following morning, he discovered his bike missing.

Upon reviewing the CCTV footage installed in the area, a suspicious individual was recorded mounting and riding away with the bike. Following this, a complaint was filed at Rathinapuri Police Station. The police are currently investigating the matter.

Furthermore, the CCTV footage of the theft has been circulating on social media since May 8, causing concern among the community members.
