Officials join hands with NGO for a cleaning initiative in Coonoor

Volunteers of 'Clean Coonoor' NGO today organised a cleaning initiative at Padumai area near Rellia Dam.  The water from Rellia Dam is the main water source for the residents of Coonoor.

The wastes dumped by tourist mostly plastic wastes were cleared by the volunteers. Officials from revenue department and forest department also joined hands with these volunteers and showed their support towards a cleaner and greener Coonoor.



Founder of Clean Coonoor, Samantha, Revenue Officer, Geethapriya, Tahsildhar, Sivakumar,  Coonoor traders association President, Sivakumar and officilas from municipality took part in the mass  cleaning drive.
