Man Arrested for Selling Ganja Chocolates Near Kurumbapalayam

In Kurumbapalayam, near Sulur, a man was arrested today for selling ganja-infused chocolates, following a tip-off to the Prohibition Enforcement Wing.


Coimbatore: In a crackdown on illegal narcotics sales near Kurumbapalayam, close to Sulur, the Prohibition Enforcement Wing of the local police acted on confidential information received about the sale of ganja chocolates.

During a raid conducted today, the police arrested Seethakanta Nayak, a 23-year-old man from Odisha, who was allegedly found selling these illicit chocolates. Upon searching, the police seized 1.3 kilograms of the ganja-infused chocolates from his possession. Nayak has been taken into custody and remanded to judicial custody, facing charges related to narcotics sales.
