TNSTC bus conductor stabbed by Railway Police Personnel, police arrests offender.


This morning, tense situation prevailed in a TNSTC bus that was en-route from Palani to Coimbatore, as the bus conductor was stabbed by a Railway Police Officer with a knife.

Siva Ramachandran, a Railway Police Personnel working under the dog squad department was travelling in a TNSTC bus from Palani to Coimbatore. It is reported that Siva Ramachandran had got ticket to travel from Palani till Podanur bus terminus.

But when the bus arrived to Podanur, Ramachandran decided to get down at the Gandhipuram terminus. Noting this, Conductor Pandiarajan has insisted Ramachandran to buy a fresh ticket to travel between Podanur and Gandhipuram terminus. But however, Ramachandran denied to buy an additional ticket and also got in a scuffle with the conductor. 

In a fit of rage, Ramachandran stabbed conductor Pandiarajan's leg with a knife when the bus was nearing Gandhipuram bus terminus. Shocked by his act, the driver and passengers of this bus caught Ramachandran red-handed and informed the police. 

The Kattoor police have registered a case against Ramachandran. This brutal and undignified act by a Railway Police personnel shook the passengers and the public. Presently, conductor Pandiarajan is undergoing treatment at the Government hospital.
