Coimbatore: The Vadavalli area near the foothills of Maruthamalai, which houses numerous residential communities adjacent to forested regions, experiences frequent wildlife movement, including elephants and deer.

Yesterday, on June 8, locals found the body of a two-year-old spotted deer in a vacant plot in the area. They immediately reported the incident to the Forest Department.
