Coimbatore: Residents and businesses in parts of Mathampalayam will experience a power outage tomorrow, June 12, 2024. The disruption, scheduled from 9 AM to 4 PM, is due to monthly maintenance works at the Mathampalayam substation. Areas affected will include Pettathapuram, Thanneer Pandal, Kottaipirivu, Onnipalayam Road, Arivolli Nagar, Chinna Mathampalayam, Mathampalayam, Selvapuram, Shanthi Medu, Bharathi Nagar, Samanayakanpalayam Road, and Kannar Palayam Road. The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) has announced this shutdown to facilitate necessary upgrades and maintenance activities at the facility.
