Following a recent incident where a woman fell into an open manhole, Coimbatore Corporation, under orders from Commissioner Sivaguruprabakaran IAS, has covered all open manholes on 100 Feet Road, Gandhipuram.

This prompted an immediate review and action by the local governing body.

Under the directive from Coimbatore City Corporation Commissioner Sivaguruprabakaran IAS, maintenance teams were prompt to seal all the manholes in the area properly. This move was necessitated after SimpliCity's report and the subsequent public outrage that followed the incident.
