Pannimadai Village Head Honored for Providing Basic Amenities in Coimbatore

In Coimbatore, the Pannimadai Village Head, along with councilors and sanitation workers, were honored for providing essential amenities like drinking water, roads, and street lighting in the CBC Sai Avenue area.

Coimbatore: The village head of Pannimadai, along with his team of councilors and sanitation workers, was recently honored in a felicitation ceremony for their significant contributions to the community. The event took place in the CBC Sai Avenue area within the 10th ward of Pannimadai, Coimbatore, where basic amenities such as drinking water, roads, and street lighting have now been established, enhancing the quality of life for the residents.

The improvements were made after persistent requests from the residents, who had long pointed out the lack of essential infrastructure in their vicinity. Under the leadership of Village Head Rathinam BSM Maruthachalam and his diligent team, these amenities were installed under various initiatives valued at ₹46.48 lakhs.

In addition to infrastructure development, the ceremony also included garlanding and honoring of the village council members and sanitation workers, appreciating their efforts to transform CBC Sai Avenue into a satisfied locality with improved living conditions. Several local organizations including CBC Sai Avenue Welfare Association and Sri Vazhithunai Vinayagar Temple Committee collaborated in organizing this grand event.

Following the formal ceremony, the leaders jointly unveiled a new plaque commemorating the successful projects and concluded with a hearty communal feast, reinforcing the spirit of unity and cooperation within the community.
