Coimbatore: In an inspiring event held at JAYCEE High School grounds, the Attitude Charitable Trust facilitated the future of 150 economically disadvantaged college students by distributing scholarships totaling Rs. 15 lakhs. The event, named Viruksha 2024, saw active participation from notable public speaker Bharathi Baskar and donors Shanmugasundaram, Ramanarayanan, and Vishnukumar.

The scholarships aim to empower students who struggle to afford their education, ensuring they can continue their studies without financial burden. The trust undertakes major projects like LITERACY, Vannamalar, and The Guardian, focusing on education and health support to underprivileged communities. LITERACY provides ongoing educational support to students until they complete their studies, benefiting over 4,000 students to date.

Special education and treatment center for differently-abled children, Vannamalar, has been operational in the city, offering modern training facilities and infrastructure developments since 2017. The Guardian project supports terminally ill patients by offering care and treatment in collaboration with Rotary Meridian Club, Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, and KMC Hospital. It has provided care for over 200 terminally ill patients so far, focusing on alleviating suffering without any cost to the patients.
