Coimbatore MP Distributes Free Bicycles to 11th Standard Students

Coimbatore MP Ganapathy Rajkumar distributed 133 free bicycles to 11th standard students of Sri Gopal Naidu school in Peelamedu on August 27, 2024. The event was attended by the school's Managing Trustee and Headmaster.


Coimbatore: In a generous initiative to support education and mobility, Coimbatore Member of Parliament Ganapathy Rajkumar distributed free bicycles to 11th standard students of Sri Gopal Naidu school in Peelamedu, Coimbatore on Tuesday morning.

The event, held at the school premises, saw the distribution of a total of 133 bicycles, with 89 allocated to boys and 44 to girls. The bicycle distribution ceremony was graced by the presence of the school's Managing Trustee, Ravi Sam, and the Headmaster, along with teachers of the institution.

This thoughtful gesture by the MP is expected to greatly benefit the students, especially those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, by providing them with a means of transportation to and from school. The initiative not only promotes education but also encourages physical activity and independence among the students.

The students and their parents expressed their gratitude to MP Ganapathy Rajkumar for this valuable contribution to their educational journey. The school administration also thanked the MP for his support and commitment to the welfare of the students.
