New Tar Road Construction Begins in Periyanaickenpalayam Municipality, Coimbatore

Coimbatore MP Ganapathi Rajkumar inaugurated the construction of a new tar road in Jothipuram, Periyanaickenpalayam Municipality on September 2. The project aims to improve local infrastructure and connectivity.


Coimbatore: The Periyanaickenpalayam Municipality has initiated the construction of a new tar road in Jothipuram. The project was officially launched on September 2 with a groundbreaking ceremony led by V. Viswa Prakash, the Chairman of Periyanaickenpalayam Municipality Council.



Coimbatore Member of Parliament Ganapathi Rajkumar attended the event as the chief guest and inaugurated the road construction work. The ceremony was also attended by several local officials and political leaders, including Thondamuthur Ravi, the DMK North District Secretary of Coimbatore, District Councillor Karthik, and Ward Councillors Shanthamani, Valarmathi, Kamalaveni, Balakrishnan, Devaki, and Ambika.

The new tar road project in Jothipuram is expected to significantly improve the local infrastructure and enhance connectivity within the Periyanaickenpalayam Municipality. This development is part of the ongoing efforts to upgrade urban facilities and improve the quality of life for residents in the area.

Local residents who attended the ceremony expressed their support for the project, anticipating that the new road will ease transportation and contribute to the overall development of the locality. The municipality officials assured that the construction work would be carried out efficiently and completed in a timely manner.
