Tamilnadu College of Engineering Inaugurates INSTRUMANIA'2K24 Association

Tamilnadu College of Engineering's Instrumentation and Control Engineering department launched INSTRUMANIA'2K24 on September 6, 2024. The event featured alumni guest speaker Nisar Ahamed MR and showcased student talents through innovative projects.


Coimbatore: The Instrumentation and Control Engineering department of Tamilnadu College of Engineering (TCE) inaugurated its student association, INSTRUMANIA'2K24, on September 6, 2024. The event saw participation from second, third, and fourth-year students of the ICE department.

The inauguration ceremony commenced with a prayer song, followed by a welcome address from student chairman M. Annamalai, who encouraged junior students to actively participate in future departmental activities. Dr. F. Vijay Amirtha Raj, Head of Department, welcomed the dignitaries and motivated students to engage in inter-college and intra-college events, emphasizing the importance of association activities.

Principal Dr. N. S. Shathivel Murugan addressed the gathering, highlighting the bright future awaiting students in the automation industry and the ongoing industrial revolution. He stressed the importance of skill development among students. The chief guest, Nisar Ahamed MR, an alumnus of TCE (Batch of 2004-2008) and currently the CEO & Founder of Rabbit Tortoise, Coimbatore, was honored with a memento.

Dr. Anusha Ravi, CEO of Park Institutions, congratulated the department and students for their efforts in making the association inauguration a learning process.



In his speech, Nisar Ahamed MR encouraged students to overcome their fears and develop their communication skills to thrive in the corporate world. He elaborated on the wide scope of employment opportunities available for instrumentation and control engineering students.

The event also featured the distribution of certificates to winners and runners-up of various technical and non-technical competitions held in connection with the ICE Association activities. INSTRUMANIA'2K24 showcased the young talents of students through their innovative projects and creative ideas.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by student secretary S. Kalpana, who expressed gratitude to the entire gathering and her fellow students for their collective effort in making the event a grand success. The inauguration ceremony ended with the National Anthem.
