The Udumalpet Tirupati Sri Venkatesa Perumal Temple's four-day Pavitrotsavam festival featured a special Bharatanatyam performance by students, attracting numerous devotees and locals on the third day of celebrations.
Coimbatore: The Udumalpet Tirupati Sri Venkatesa Perumal Temple in Tiruppur district commenced its four-day Pavitrotsavam festival on the 13th. On the second day, Saturday, the events included Thirumanjana, Homam, Pavithram offering, and Saattrumurai Koshti.
The third day's events on Sunday featured Chathusthana Archana, Homam, and Saattrumurai Koshti.
The highlight of the day was a Bharatanatyam performance by students.
The dance recital, set to songs praising Sri Venkatesa Perumal and Amman, captivated the audience.
A large number of devotees and locals gathered to watch the Bharatanatyam performance. Following the dance recital, special abhishekam and homam were performed for Sri Venkatesa Perumal, followed by Maha Deeparadhana. Theertham and prasadam were then distributed to the devotees.
The festival attracted people from surrounding villages who participated in the darshan. The Udumalpet Tirupati Sri Balaji Charitable Trust administrators made arrangements for the event.
