The need for land to construct a new Integrated Agricultural Extension Center building in Thondamuthur constituency was addressed during a council meeting of the Thondamuthur Panchayat Union. The meeting, chaired by Union President Madhumathi Vijayakumar, passed a resolution allocating 9 cents of land for this purpose.
In a ceremony to hand over the order copy for the land allocation, S.P. Velumani presented the document to Assistant Director of Agriculture Saktivel. The event was attended by Thondamuthur Block Development Officer Kalarani, Thondamuthur Union President Madhumathi Vijayakumar, councilors, and farmers from the area.
This initiative is expected to boost agricultural extension services in the Thondamuthur region, providing better support and resources to local farmers.
