Legal Awareness Session at Gram Sabha Meeting Near Madathukulam

A Gram Sabha meeting was held in Pappan Kulam panchayat near Madathukulam, Tiruppur district. Lawyer Marimuthu raised awareness about laws benefiting the poor and underprivileged.


Coimbatore: A Gram Sabha meeting was held today in Pappan Kulam panchayat near Madathukulam in Tiruppur district. The meeting was presided over by the panchayat president, Nachammaal.

Lawyer Marimuthu, representing the Udumalaipet and Madathukulam Taluk Legal Services Committee, participated in the event. In his address, he highlighted that there are numerous laws designed to benefit the poor and underprivileged, and urged the public to make use of these legal provisions.

Elaborating on legal awareness, Lawyer Marimuthu emphasized the importance of people knowing their rights. He stressed that being aware of legal provisions can significantly empower citizens, especially those from economically weaker sections of society.

The Gram Sabha meeting saw enthusiastic participation from a large number of local residents. The attendees showed keen interest in gaining information about their legal rights and the various laws that could potentially benefit them. The session served as a platform for the rural community to interact directly with a legal expert and clarify their doubts.
