Additionally, a debate was held as an intra-departmental event on October 3, 2024, at the Department of Zoology.

The discussion covered various aspects of species conservation and anthropogenic activities leading to animal extinction. The session lasted for about an hour, with approximately 80 spectators in attendance.

On October 4, 2024, a guest lecture on "Co-existing in the midst of conflict: Human wildlife interactions" was delivered by Dr. N. V. K.
