KAHE Launches 21-Day Student Induction Programme 2026 for First-Year Engineering Students

Karpagam Academy of Higher Education inaugurated its 21-Day Student Induction Programme 2026 for first-year B.E./B.Tech students on 23 July 2026. NASSCOM Director V. Udaya Sankar delivered the inaugural address, emphasizing skill development and industry readiness for engineering aspirants at the Sekkizhar Auditorium event.


Coimbatore: The Department of Science and Humanities, Faculty of Engineering, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education (KAHE), successfully inaugurated the 21-Day Student Induction Programme 2026 for first-year B.E./B.Tech students on 23 July 2026 at 10.00 a.m. in the Sekkizhar Auditorium.






The programme was presided over by Dr. R. Vasanthakumar, President, Karpagam Educational Institutions, in the presence of K. Murugaiah, Chief Executive Officer, Karpagam Educational Institutions. The event commenced with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp.




Prof. Dr. A. Amudha, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, delivered the welcome address, warmly greeting the dignitaries, faculty members, parents, and newly admitted students. She emphasized the importance of the Student Induction Programme in helping students smoothly transition into their academic journey at the engineering college.




In his presidential address, Dr. R. Vasanthakumar encouraged the students to make the best use of the opportunities available at KAHE, cultivate discipline, and strive for academic excellence while developing strong values and leadership qualities essential for their professional careers.




The chief guest, V. Udaya Sankar, Director, NASSCOM and Co-Founder, Maatram Foundation, delivered the inaugural address. He inspired the students with his motivational speech, highlighting the importance of skill development, innovation, continuous learning, adaptability, and industry readiness to succeed in today's competitive technological world.




K. Murugaiah, Chief Executive Officer, Karpagam Educational Institutions, felicitated the gathering and motivated the students to remain committed to their goals and make the most of the learning environment provided by the institution throughout their engineering education.




Prof. Dr. S. Ravi, Vice Chancellor, also addressed the students, encouraging them to pursue academic excellence, research initiatives, and holistic development throughout their engineering education at KAHE.




A glimpse of KAHE was presented by Prof. Dr. B. V. Pradeep, Registrar, who introduced the students to the university's academic achievements, state-of-the-art facilities, research initiatives, and comprehensive student support services available on campus.




The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr. M. Deivanayaki, Head, Department of Science and Humanities, Faculty of Engineering, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, organizers, parents, and students for making the inaugural function a grand success. The event ended with the National Anthem.
