Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Katta Ravi Teja, along with Deputy Mayor R Vetriselvan, inspected a small bridge built at Perumalsamy Nagar, PK Puthur, under Ward 92 of the South Zone, on September 18, 2026. The inspection followed public grievance petitions received at the Makkaludan Mudhalvar grievance day held on September 15, 2026, under Mayor Ranganayaki's leadership. During the visit, officials were instructed to remove encroachments in the area. Earlier, the Commissioner also inspected desilting work being carried out by volunteers on the Noyyal River from Perur Dam to Kurichi Dam.

The inspection was carried out in response to grievance petitions received from the public during the grievance redressal day held on September 15, 2026, under the leadership of Mayor Ranganayaki. Acting on the petitions, the Commissioner and Deputy Vetriselvan visited the site in person to assess the condition of the small bridge.
During the inspection, Commissioner Katta Ravi Teja instructed the concerned officials to remove encroachments in the area.
Earlier, the Commissioner also inspected the desilting work being carried out on the Noyyal River from Perur Dam to Kurichi Dam in Coimbatore district, which is being undertaken with the help of volunteers.
