MLA Karthick alleges on snail pace work at Sowripalayam

The on-going underground drainage work at Sowripalayam has been dealt at snail-pace, alleges Karthick MLA of Singanallur Constituency. 

MLA Karthick today inspected the long-pending drainage works at the Sowripalayam area and reported to the press that the scheme was started during the reign of DMK, under the 'Jawaharlal Urban Development Mission'. He strongly condemned on the negligence of the Corporation authorities and that no officials including the Corporation Commissioner has inspected the project, till date. 

'The project has been dragging for the past 7 yrs, which is actually deemed to have completed four years back' he affirmed. Hence he insisted that the Corporation authorities should probe in the issue and initiate ways to finish it at the earliest.
