'Soon solar panels will be installed at Commissioner of Police, office', says Minister SP Velumani

Thiru. S.P. Velumani, Minister for Municipal Administration, Rural Development and Implementation of Special Programme today inaugurated the new facilities at the Commissioner of Police, office. A refurbished Food Court, an ATM center of State Bank of India, a public community hall and sanitary complex were the newly inaugurated facilities. 

In his press meet, Minister SP Velumani assured that as per the request of the Commissioner of Police, A. Amalraj, a sum of Rs. 20 lakhs towards solar panel installation will be sanctioned from the Member of Parliament's fund, he said.

Currently, the office pays an electricity bill of 1.5 lakhs and hence solar installation would be an ideal choice, said City Commissioner, A. Amalraj. He extended his gratitude to the Minister for fulfilling their requests, on time.
