Karthika, daughter of Nagarajan from Arivoli Nagar near Madukkarai, is a college student. She has a boyfriend named Magamuni.
A week ago, Magamuni died due to electrocution at his hometown, Dindigul. Since his death, Karthika has very dejected and heartbroken, which provoked her to commit suicide. Yesterday, after her parents left from home, she hanged herself at her residence. The dolorous incident has left her parents and friends broken-hearted and inconsolable.
The Madukkarai police have registered a case and are investigating to ascertain the facts behind her death.
