Addressing the gathering during Chief Minister's Grievance Day and Welfare Assistance program held at Thasildhar office in Annur, Mettupalayam here, he apprised that the State government will commence the bypass road project from Saravanampatti to Mysore with the help of NABARD.
"Vehicles travelling through Satyamangalam road via Annur are subjected to delays due to traffic congestion on Saravanampatti to Sathyamangalam stretch. Therefore, the State government has decided to implement a bypass road project at an estimated cost of Rs.1500 from Saravanampatti to Mysore", the Speaker said.
He added that the scheme will be prepared by Tamil Nadu government and will be implemented with financial help from NABARD. He also said that plans are being made to provide uninterrupted drinking water to the panchayats in Annur and Avinashi areas.

Later, he provided welfare assistance worth Rs. 6.5 crore to 1500 beneficiaries.in the presence of District Collector, K. Rajamani. Free cattle, agricultural bank loans, old age pension, Amma two-wheeler scheme and free patta were distributed on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
The event was attended by President of Annur Co-operative Warehouse, Ambal Palanisamy and Union Deputy Secretary Sai Senthil, and other government officials and public.
