Kongu Ilaingar Munnani cadres arrested for protesting against withdrawal high denomination currency notes

Eighty persons who belong to the Kongu Ilaingar Peravai were arrested for protesting against the Central government to withdraw the central government's introduction of new denomination notes for high value currency. The central government announced that the 1000 rupees and 500 rupees currency notes are invalid. The public is impacted by this decision of the central government. In this regard, the protestors staged a protest.



The protest was held in front of the Coimbatore South Taluk office. Over 80 protestors lead by the party's district secretary Paramasivam participated in this protests. Police arrested the protestors.
